With old cars, there is always a to do list. Even though we like our little Lada a lot, we know that in the end we need to create some space around the house, so our Lada 1200S is for sale . On this blog you can see the Lada-bid-o-meter for the current asking price. We wrote this blog so you can see what state the vehicle is, and all the work that got into it to get it so far. The name of this blog blablalada  derived from a Dutch TV commercial "Lada, een auto zonder bla bla", which can be translated as "Lada a car without pretenses". After an extensive search on the Internet, looking (obviously in the Eastern countries like Poland and Czech Republic), we did find our cruiser Lada in.... The Netherlands.... So out of the window, with plans for a long trip/vacation to collect the vehicle, it turned out to be just a 1 hour drive trough the flat country. We did find the vehicle in a heated garage. The extreme low mileage was backed up by the superb condition of the engine bay, the paperwork and a visit to the garage where the vehicle was for maintenance during its entire lifespan. We are talking about a 1st owner Lada 2101 (21013 to be precise), that spend most of its days in the garage. No showroom condition, but a good and honest car with low mileage and all the paperwork to back that up. Downside; ugly/rusty dent from parking accident on the right front wing. And a garage maneuvering dent in the right hand side rear door.
